More about Silk Sense

Silk Sense offers a range of services to help companies and other organisations with their websites. Silk Sense is a small firm and I therefore do not need to charge VAT. I charge by the job or by the hour. I can negotiate a price with you to suit what you want and what you can afford.  I also offer an initial website ‘healthcheck’ for £85.

How does it work?

I would aim to build your knowledge and expertise so that you can take the work on your website forward. I work from home and have consulting rooms in central London. I can come to your premises and work with your staff on a group or individual basis.

More about me and how I can help

After a career in further education and teacher training I joined BBC Education in 1990. In 1995 - the early days of the Internet -  I set up the website for FETV (Further Education Television) and produced multi-media projects. In 2000 at the height of the 'dot com' boom I joined a web design and production company – Bluewave - where I was the project manager for several high profile clients. From July 2000 until early 2010 I worked at the Financial Services Authority where I managed and edited the Consumer and Small Firms websites.

I can use my experience to help you get your message across.
